A user has a non authorized cashless tag

A Cashless tag is unauthorized when reading the balance displays a gray pop up with the following error: "Cashless support not authorized on this contract".

This means that the cashless tag security key does not match the one configured on the device, this can be caused by:

  • a Cashless tag from another event or an earlier edition
  • a Cashless tag "fried" when you topped-up it for the first time

If the cashless tag comes from another event it is not valid and its balance is not.

If the Cashless tag is fried, ensure that it is not given to a user, and if this is the case, then it is necessary to find the cashier who made the top-up so that the amount cashed is credited on another tag.
